We've Planted Our Trees!

Well, it's summer again - we know this because things have finally stopped freezing here in Minnesota. In light of this, on May 13th, nearly every employee of Loll Designs and Epicurean Cutting Surfaces participated in our first-ever company sapling planting day. Five hundred White Spruce were planted in the newly thawed earth around the HQ in Duluth, MN. Another two hundred Red Oaks and beloved White Pines went home with employees for tree-type beautification in areas of their choice. Although rain threatened, our prodigious planters made quick work of the task, finishing in around an hour. The inclement weather held off until just after all of the five hundred seedlings were in the ground for a well-timed watering. While the glory of our time and effort is currently held in these tiny saplings, we look forward to sharing this growing greenery with generations to come!

Alfresco Series

Okay, it's not an entirely new idea - the picnic table set - but we've redesigned our version to be made entirely out of 100% post-consumer recycled HDPE. And with a name like Alfresco, it will probably add just a little bit more taste to whatever food you eat from it. The Alfresco Table is the perfect setting for any outdoor meal or social gathering. Sized to be a comfortable fit for four adults, it is smaller than most picnic tables so it won’t take up all your outdoor space. With the 100% recycled HDPE frame and top, the Alfresco set will clean-up easily and requires no maintenance.

This was our first time showing our products to the Hospitality community and we couldn’t have been happier with the response. The show was well attended in the crazy city of Las Vegas.
