Plant a Tree

Starting around Earth Day 2008, (frost permitting in MN) Loll Staff will take a field day, and go out to plant a tree for each order we received in the preceding year. All of us here are concerned about keeping our environment not only alive, but clean, healthy and beautiful too. We will find places that are in need of more of our tall green friends, and by providing what's needed, be a constructive part of our ecosystem's diverse immune system. Here's the great news: you can help us out with this goal without even taking a break from your lollygagging - just order some furniture! The more you buy, the more we can do!

We order tree seedlings for planting from the MN Department of Natural Resources. The trees are grown locally in Willow River, MN, and are best suited to be planted in MN. The tree that has the best chance of making it past the deer population is the white spruce. The seedling trees are 5”to12” tall. Loll will plant a tree for every order taken in a year cycle from Earth Day to Earth Day, which is April 22.
