WindSense Loll is excited to be enrolled with our local power company in developing renewable energy. Minnesota Power offers customers the opportunity to buy electricity that is wind-generated by subscribing for blocks of wind energy for a surcharge. Minnesota Power’s WindSense program will only grow in part due to Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. On February 22, 2007 Pawlenty signed into law a renewable energy requirement for 25% of the electricity produced by the state’s utilities to come from renewable energy by 2025. |
